By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: As the Washington Huskies look for a new basketball coach, it appears they’re also going to be looking for a new cornerstone guard. On Friday, sophomore Koren Johnson told On3’s Joe Tipton that he is planning on entering the transfer portal when it opens on March 18.
Johnson was honored as the Pac-12’s Sixth Player of the Year this season and was expected to move into a starting role after averaging a career high 11.1 points per game during his second season.
