By Chris Fetters, Dawgman: During Jedd Fisch’s impromptu press conference on Wednesday, he let it drop that Washington had resigned defensive coordinator Ryan Walters. Dawgman.com has obtained a copy of the new contract, which was signed on January 1st by Walters, UW AD Pat Chun, and James Bruder.
The details of the new contract are below. Walters’ new contract is on a par with what former Washington Offensive Coordinator Ryan Grubb received when he contract was re-negotiated after the 2022 season. Grubb ended up making $2 million a year, which is what Walters is also making.
