Washington basketball's second-leading scorer out indefinitely after surgery

By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: The Washington Huskies will be without one of their leading scorers for a while as their injury-plagued season continues.

On Monday afternoon, The Field Of 68’s Jeff Goodman reported that standout guard Wesley Yates, one of Danny Sprinkle’s top transfer portal acquisitions, will be out indefinitely after undergoing wrist surgery. The 6-foot-4 guard had started the first 11 games of the year before suffering the injury in the first half of Washington’s loss to Seattle University.
