By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: In a move that should come as a surprise to absolutely nobody who watched him play at any point during the college basketball season, Washington Huskies star Hannes Steinbach has signed with one of the nation’s top sports agencies, Excel Management.
The All-Big Ten Third Team and Freshman Team honoree has a big decision ahead of him: will he declare for the NBA draft or return to coach Danny Sprinkle’s team for the 2026-27 season? While his decision doesn’t have to be finalized for several months, this decision seemingly suggests that, at the very least, Steinbach will test the waters ahead of the draft in late June.
