By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: The Washington Huskies will be looking for some guard depth in the transfer portal after freshman Jase Butler stated his intentions to look for a new home through his agent, Drake U’u.
Butler, who had originally signed with Illinois before flipping to the Huskies once coach Danny Sprinkle took the head coaching job, was a four-star prospect coming out of The Branson School in San Francisco, California, and was ranked as the nation’s No. 13 combo guard and No. 107 overall prospect in the 2024 class.
