By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: After transferring from the 2024 NCAA Tournament darling Oakland Golden Grizzles to the Washington Huskies, Chris Conway will not take the floor for coach Danny Sprinkle’s team. The 6-foot-9 forward from Naperville, Illinois, was expected to be part of Washington’s rotation in the frontcourt during the 2024-25 season.
However, due to a knee injury, Conway missed the entire season and on Tuesday night, he announced that he would be retiring from basketball, calling it a chronic knee injury.
