By Cole Bagley, UteZone: With two weeks of spring camp now under their belt, the University of Utah Football program has had an opportunity to get a good look at every player and position. With nearly 70 freshmen on this year’s spring squad, this is the first time many of players have taken reps at a collegiate level and under the supervision of their new head coach Kyle Whittingham.
Of all those new faces, the two that most likely have the majority of eyes on them would be Texas-transfer Ja’Quinden Jackson and four-star recruit Peter Costelli. Jackson, as we know, was originally a Texas Longhorn but after seeing zero action in an orange uniform, decided to leave the program and trade out the longhorn for a drum and feather.
