Utah freshman cornerback Deon Mays released from his NLI

By Sammy Mora, UteZone: Incoming freshman CB Deon Mays has announced he requested and was given a release from his National Letter of Intent on Tuesday night. Mays says in his post that this is due to family reasons.

Mays signed with Utah in December after a somewhat quiet recruitment. He was a late bloomer who was rated a 86 by 247Sports and held offers from nine teams in total including Utah.
