Utah DE coach Lewis Powell reportedly joining Kyle Whittingham at Michigan

By Brandon Judd, Deseret News: Kyle Whittingham will reportedly be taking a Utah defensive coach with him to Michigan, in addition to a number of offensive coaches from the school.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel reported Thursday afternoon that defensive ends coach Lewis Powell will join Whittingham on Michigan’s staff.

Per Thamel, Powell is expected to coach the defensive line at Michigan and work as the program’s run game coordinator.
