By Thomas Goldkamp, On3 Sports: Utah cornerback Cameron Calhoun has signed with Alabama out of the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.
Calhoun played a key role for the Utes during the 2024 season, racking up 21 tackles, a tackle for a loss, an interception and nine pass breakups.
He should instantly compete for time in the Crimson Tide secondary.
Cameron Calhoun was a redshirt freshman during the 2024 season, so he’s still got three years of eligibility remaining. He was originally enrolled at Michigan, where he appeared in two games for the Wolverines in 2023.
