Utah coach Kyle Whittingham likes what he sees in 2021 recruiting class

Deseret News: Highlighted by a few four-star recruits, including quarterback Peter Costelli, Utah football is hauling in another strong recruiting class — one of the best in program history.

Other highly touted high school players that signed with the Utes on the early national signing day Wednesday include linebackers Ethan Calvert and Trey Reynolds (four-star linebacker Mason Tufaga is committed to Utah but has not yet signed), bolstering a class that ranks No. 29 nationally, according to 247Sports.com. Utah’s Class of 2021 is tied for the top class in program history, along with last year’s.

Perhaps the biggest news Wednesday regarding the Utes was that four-star QB Peter Costelli will be enrolling in school in January and will be available to participate in spring practices.
