By R.J. Abeytia, USCFootball: Lincoln Riley talked about the value the staff put on what it took to earn the gold-plated helmet decal this spring. After instituting it last season, Riley set an even higher bar for players to clear in order to earn the sticker.
“The thing we’ve done with it this year is it’s been much tougher to earn it,” Riley said.
