USCFootball.com: They saw the writing on the wall, but that didn’t make Tuesday’s news any less surreal.
“I mean it’s something that [we] unfortunately kind of saw coming from a bit away,” USC quarterback Kedon Slovis explained. “We knew it wasn’t looking good with our season kind of being in jeopardy. And then yesterday, just to have it be solidified was really, really tough to see. And, you know, it was kind of weird being at lifting after the news broke on Tuesday.”
