By Cody Nagel, 247Sports: For the fifth time this season, USC found itself on the wrong side of a one-possession loss, leaving Lincoln Riley and his coaching staff staring down the possibility of their first bowl game absence since he took over in 2022.
The Trojans struggled to overcome an early two-score deficit in a tightly contested 26-21 defeat at Washington on Saturday. With this latest setback, USC now sits below .500 for the season and has recorded a disheartening 6-10 record in its last 16 games dating back to last year.
