By Roman Tomashoff, Huskies Wire: Danny Sprinkle picked up another big win in the transfer portal when USC standout Wesley Yates III announced his return to the Washington Huskies.
After initially committing to coach Mike Hopkins out of high school, where he was a top-50 recruit at Beaumont United High School in Texas, he missed the entirety of his true freshman season with an injury. Then after Hopkins and his staff, which included his cousin Quincy Pondexter, were dismissed at the end of the year, Yates entered the transfer portal.
