“I’d like to thank Coach Riley and the entire coaching and support staff that I’ve had the opportunity to work with and learn from for the past five years,” Manning wrote in a statement.

Manning spent the previous two seasons as USC's outside linebackers coach. He was also the assistant head coach for defense.
