By Steve Samra, On3 Sports: USC Trojans offensive lineman Mason Murphy has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned.
Murphy played high school football at JSerra Catholic (CA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 507 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
As a recruit, Murphy held offers from a number of big brand programs, such as Michigan, Washington, and Utah. It’ll be interesting to see where he ends up after joining the transfer portal.
