The old adage paid off for USC basketball Monday as guard Boogie Ellis announced his commitment to the Trojans on social media:
Ellis chose to enter the NCAA transfer portal two weeks ago after helping lead Memphis to the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) championship. AÂ sophomore guard and native of San Diego, Calif., Ellis averaged 10.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists this season while being named American Athletic Conference Co-Sixth Man of the Year.
