The old adage paid off for USC basketball Monday as guard Boogie Ellis announced his commitment to the Trojans on social media:
Ellis chose to enter the NCAA transfer portal two weeks ago after helping lead Memphis to the National Invitational Tournament (NIT) championship. A sophomore guard and native of San Diego, Calif., Ellis averaged 10.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 1.5 assists this season while being named American Athletic Conference Co-Sixth Man of the Year.
