Urban Meyer to headline Nevada athletic dept Governor's Dinner fundraiser

By Chris Murray, Nevada Sports Net: Urban Meyer, who won three national championships as a head coach, will headline this summer’s Governor’s Dinner, a major fundraiser for the Nevada athletic department. The 57th annual event is scheduled for July 22 at 6 p.m. at the Governor’s Mansion in Carson City.

Urban, a College Football Hall of Famer, led Florida to national championships in 2006 and 2008 and Ohio State to a title in 2014. He also had a brief career with the NFL, coaching the Jacksonville Jaguars for 13 games in 2021.
