Univ. of Utah protesters want president to resign, closure of campus police dept.

Deseret News: Protesters march from Rice-Eccles Stadium to Presidents Circle at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City on Thursday. Responding to the university’s handling of the case of slain student Lauren McCluskey, protesters called for the resignation of university President Ruth Watkins, the abolition of the university police department, and a redistribution of police funding into counseling and social services.
