UCLA's inconsistent Wednesday spring practice has its good moments, mistakes

By Tracy Pierson, BruinReportOnline: UCLA continued to practice in full pads, and overall it wasn’t a stellar practice Wednesday. It wasn’t horrible, with some good moments, but not enough to offset too many inaccurate throws, drops, lapses in coverage, and penalties.

Perhaps the biggest news was the sighting of tight end Michael Martinez in full pads. Martinez missed all of last season with a leg injury, and has only been seen in glimpses this spring.
