Bruin Report Online: The UCLA women’s basketball team will not play its game on Friday against Colorado due to injury concerns, the program has announced.
The decision was made as the Bruins do not have the minimum amount of healthy scholarship players (7) as required by the Pac-12. Though these guidelines were recently put in place by 2020-21 Pac-12 COVID-19 Addendum, it has not been announced if these injuries are COVID-related. UCLA’s policy during the pandemic is to announce that a player is “unavailable” whether it is for a physical injury or an illness.
