By UCLA Athletics: Bill McGovern, a highly decorated college football player and successful defensive football coach possessing almost 40 years of college and NFL experience, passed away Tuesday morning at his California home surrounded by family, following a battle with cancer. He was 60.
McGovern joined Chip Kelly’s coaching staff as UCLA’s defensive coordinator in February 2022.
