By JD McCarthy, UCLA Wire: The UCLA Bruins have landed a commitment from three-star defensive lineman Montana Toilolo, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. They beat out some of the top programs in the country for the Santa Ana, California native. Toilolo picked the Bruins over the Miami Hurricanes, Washington Huskies, Oregon Ducks, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. UCLA was able to get him back on campus for two visits recently, allowing them to move ahead in a tightly contested recruitment.
While he was scheduled to officially visit all five programs, he is only expected to take his trip to UCLA now that he is committed.
