By Colorado State Athletics: Tyson Summers is returning to Colorado State.
“I’m excited to welcome Tyson Summers and his family back to Fort Collins,” said Norvell. “When looking for a defensive coordinator, Tyson was a great fit for our program, and I look forward to having his veteran experience and knowledge lead our defense.”
Colorado State football coach Jay Norvell announced the hiring of the veteran coach Sunday as the Rams’ new defensive coordinator. It will be Summers’ second stint as the team’s defensive leader, formerly serving in the role in the 2015 season for Mike Bobo.
