Sun Devil Source: Last summer, McQueen (Reno, Nev.) High 2022 linebacker Robby Snelling thought his future path was laid out in front of him. He had just committed to play baseball at Stanford, factoring his favorable projection as a pitcher into his decision.
But after a standout first season with the Lancers’ varsity football team in which he led all players in tackles (79) and quarterback hurries (four), Snelling began to picture a potentially different reality.
