However, beyond the general reality of injuries lies the specific concern about the players and position groups where injuries can least be afforded. It’s one thing to lose a good player in a position group where quality depth exists. The worst injuries are those which take away the player who can’t easily be replaced. If the backup isn’t good, an injury to a starter can be devastating.
