By Jackson Moore, Fresno State Bulldogs on SI: The Fresno State Bulldogs officially accepted an invitation from the Pac-12 on Sept. 12, 2024. Now, 657 days later, the Bulldogs are officially in the conference as of July 1. To open the new era, BarkBoard.com highlights 12 reasons to be excited for the Bulldogs’ entry into the revamped Pac-12 Conference.
The Pac-12 rebuilt from two members to nine, as the majority of the former conference split into the Big Ten, Big 12 and ACC. Remaining schools Oregon State and Washington State kept the Pac-12 afloat with seven invitations to the conference, including five from the Mountain West.
