USCFootball.com: Starting middle linebacker Palaie Gaoteote, who suffered a cut along his head in the 34-30 Arizona win on Saturday, entered concussion protocol USC head coach Clay Helton said on Sunday. Helton also noted he suffered a lower leg contusion.
Gaoteote finished with the game with just two tackles and now has seven on the season; he had to leave the game in the first half after losing his helmet on a play, which caused a cut on his forehead that needed to be treated in the locker room.
