Trojan DC D'Anton Lynn admits USC used portal 'more than we wanted to'

By Grant Hughes, USCFootball.com: USC turned to new defensive coordinator D’Anton Lynn this offseason to solve its woes on that side of the ball.

The Trojans have ranked near the bottom of the nation in total defense the last two seasons and dipped into the transfer portal for help this offseason, adding 11 players in the first window, including seven on the defensive side of the ball.
