Perhaps it wasn’t all that unexpected with senior linebacker Kyle Soelle, junior left guard LaDarius Henderson and sophomore cornerback Ro Torrence unable to suit up as starters. Maybe it even seemed like a formality when sophomore quarterback Trenton Bourguet and sophomore center Ben Scott sustained injuries.
