Dawgman: It appeared to be just a matter of time. After Washington State officials seemed to be more positive this weekend that the 113th Apple Cup would go off as scheduled, word started leaking out on Twitter Sunday afternoon that the game wouldn’t be played after all.
And Yahoo’s Pete Thamel was the first to go public with the news: the game is off, as of now.
