By James Fletcher III, On3 Sports: The University of Texas has agreed to part ways with men’s basketball coach Chris Beard, per Kirk Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman. The decision comes following his arrest for a third-degree felony domestic violence incident on Dec. 12, 2022.
“Texas basketball coach Chris Beard has been fired, the Statesman has learned,” tweeted Bohls.
