USCFootball.com: Suspended sophomore USC wide receiver Munir McClain issued a public statement on Sunday during a press conference on USC’s campus, led by political activist Najee Ali.
News broke on Thursday that McClain allegedly received benefits from the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance program, according to the L.A. Times and later confirmed by USCFootball.com. Federal agents arrived on campus earlier in the week to question McClain and others who may have knowledge of the player’s acquisition of unemployment benefits.
