Arizona State’s head coach had just led his team through a freezing, rainy environment in Corvallis, Oregon, for over three hours in mid-December and looked very much physically and mentally depleted by it.
When asked how much he needed to rest, Edwards began to nod slowly, accepting to himself that he was “bone tired” at the end of his team’s Pac-12 schedule and needed some time away.
