Sun Angel Collective rallies support immediately after Anderson resignation

By Noah Furtado, SunDevil Source: Many supporters of Arizona State athletics made clear their contributions to the department’s name, image and likeness (NIL) efforts through the Sun Angel Collective would be conditional on Ray Anderson’s departure as vice president of university athletics.

Monday, he resigned as one of the highest-paid athletic directors in the country — and the money poured in.

The Twitter account for the school's official collective prompted ASU fans, boosters and alumni with its goal to add 500 new members Monday. Their response led to a single-day record of new monthly members.
