By Robbie Weinstein, 247Sports: The Big 12 is in big trouble with Texas and Oklahoma leaving for the SEC, and questions remain as to whether the remaining eight schools will scatter to other leagues or try to invite new members and hold the league together.
Either way, it seems that the Big 12 could lose its de facto Power Five status in terms of the perception across college football — making the College Football Playoff will be difficult for any league champion.
