By Griffin McVeigh, Longhorns Wire: What Steve Sarkisian did with Alabama’s offense last season was incredible. Wide receiver DeVonta Smith (winner), quarterback Mac Jones, and running back Najee Harris all finished in the top five of Heisman voting.
After averaging 48.5 points per game and winning the national championship, Sarkisian won the Broyles Award for being the top assistant coach in the country. Here were the four other finalists:
