Stanford gets first commit of Kyle Smith era, flips WSU pledge Evan Stinson

By Kevin Borba, All Cardinal: The Stanford basketball roster will look extremely different for the 2024-25 season, as the Cardinal are expected to lose a majority of their roster to the portal or graduation.

New head coach Kyle Smith inherited a roster whose most experienced returning player is a former walk-on in Benny Gealer. Smith does have a chance to convince players in the portal to come back, but he still has a major roster overhaul in front of him.
