By Chris Hummer, 247Sports: Stanford cornerback Julian Neal plans to enter the transfer portal, his father, Emmett, tells Jackson Moore and Chris Hummer of 247Sports.
Neal spent the 2024 season at Fresno State and transferred to Stanford in December. But in the wake of the Cardinal firing head coach Troy Taylor, Neal is opting to reenter the portal and explore his options. Players are given a 30-day window to enter the transfer portal after a head coaching change, which allows Neal to enter the portal ahead of the spring portal window, which begins on April 16.
