Dawgman: Patience paid off for Husky Nation on the final day of 2020 as the long-awaited decision of outside linebacker Ryan Bowman came down and, like several other starters who could have headed off to the NFL, the fifth-year senior announced he was returning to play one last season for the Dawgs in 2021.
Bowman played in just two games this past season, missing the other two due to COVID protocols, and finished with six tackles, two tackles-for-loss and one sack while playing multiple positions for the Huskies including outside linebacker and even some defensive tackle. He was named to several preseason All-Pac 12 teams before the start of the season.
