By Chris Murray, Nevada Sports Net: The Mountain West could be close to losing its marquee athletic department.
National radio host Dan Patrick said during his Monday broadcast the Pac-12 is expected to add San Diego State as soon as this week. This comes on the heels of Pac-12 insider John Canzano writing last week there’s been ongoing discussion between the Pac-12 and SDSU. Rumors of the conference’s interest in the Aztecs has boiled since the Pac-12 lost USC and UCLA, two teams that comprise the league’s Southern California market, to the Big 10.
