Ryan Grubb explains Washington, Alabama departures after taking NFL job

By Carter Bahns, 247Sports: Former Washington offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb accepted the Seattle Seahawks’ offensive coordinator job last week, upending his move to Alabama as part of Kalen DeBoer’s debut Crimson Tide staff.

Grubb, whom Alabama never formally introduced as its offensive coordinator, assured the crowd at a program event that he would be on staff for the 2024 season but days later elected to remain in Seattle and take the NFL job.
