By Grant Grubbs, On3: Former Rutgers center Lathan Sommerville has committed to Washington, via the NCAA Transfer Portal. He only spent one season with the Scarlet Knights.
Sommerville made 32 appearances and 15 starts this past season. He averaged 8.2 points, 4.1 rebounds and 0.6 blocks per game while shooting 50.6% from the field. He only shot nine 3-pointers this season and made one.
