By Dushawn London, 247Sports: Rutgers grad transfer Myles Johnson will be committing Friday at 3pm eastern he announced. The 6-foot-11, 255 pound junior will be choosing between Stanford and UCLA and will be a huge addition to either program as he was named to the 2021 All Big Ten defensive team. He averaged 8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.4 blocks while shooting 62.8% from the field.
“It’s between UCLA and Stanford, both are great grad schools, and I’m honored that I was accepted into both programs,” he said. “I’ve built good relationships with coach Palmer and Cronin at UCLA as they were one of the first schools to contact me. From Stanford I talked a lot with coach Pruitt, since we talked back when I was in high school, and I had a great talk with Dr. Condoleezza Rice.”
