By Tom Fornelli, CBS Sports: They say this is the toughest week of the college football season to bet. They say there are too many variables to consider when betting games on this weekend of the season every year. Emotions are running high with rivalry games and senior days.
Some teams might be mentally checked out and not ready to play. Then there’s the factor of so many players who don’t get to spend the holiday with their families because they’re too busy preparing with their team, and many are on the road. Finally, they say it’s tougher because there are no secrets at this point in the season. The oddsmakers know who’s who and how they play.
