Report: UCLA close to finalizing deal to move from Rose Bowl to SoFi Stadium

By Alex Byington, On3: UCLA football is reportedly finalizing a deal to play its home games at SoFi Stadium, the home of the NFL‘s Los Angeles Chargers and Rams located in Inglewood, according to 247 Sports’ Bruin Report Online. This would be a major change for the Bruins football program, which has played its home games inside the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena since 1982.

The city of Pasadena and the Rose Bowl Operating Company have already filed suit against UCLA to halt the moveaccording to the Los Angeles Times, but UCLA athletic department sources reportedly told Bruin Report Online that the move to SoFi Stadium is a “near-done deal,” according to the 247 Sports site.
