By Chandler Vessels, On3: Stanford is expected to hire Alabama assistant defensive line coach Jamey Mosley as its next defensive line coach, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel. A former Crimson Tide linebacker, Mosley will get his first opportunity as a lead position coach on the Power 4 level.
Mosley played at Alabama from 2015-18 and was part of two national championship teams during his time in Tuscaloosa. He ended his career with totals of 21 tackles (4.5 for loss), two sacks and two passes defended across 31 games played. His brother, C.J. Mosley, also played for Alabama.
