By Brad Crawford, 247Sports: Bowl season has seen its first casualty this fall after organizers decided to axe this season’s Redbox Bowl, Brett McMurphy of The Action Network reported on Wednesday.
That trims the postseason slate to 41 bowl games, excluding the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, and likely means two fewer Group of Five teams will play in a bowl game, McMurphy reports.
