Duck Territory: The Las Vegas Raiders are deciding what to do with Marcus Mariota ahead of the 2021 season and the New England Patriots could be a fit, per ESPN NFL analyst Mike Reiss.
With Derek Carr under contract and the Raiders signing Nathan Peterman last week, Mariota could be the odd man out with a salary of $11.3 million. Releasing Mariota saves Las Vegas money under the salary cap after he served as Carr’s No. 2 last season.
